Obesity is a major growing concern throughout the world nowadays. Many people struggle to lose weight naturally and some may even undergo surgery to lose weight. But there is no one-stop solution for weight loss. Some claim that reducing the calorie intake is enough to reduce the weight, and some say to reduce the carbohydrate intake. This may work for some people, but it may not work for others. In this article, we can understand some ways to lose weight naturally without exercise.
1. Plan and set your goal to lose weight:
Set realistic goals like how much weight you want to lose in a week. You can aim to lose 0.5 -1 kg in a week. For instance, if your body weight is 100 kg, you can think of losing 0.5 to 1 kg in a week which is realistic and possible to lose weight without exercise.
2. Clean Out Your Kitchen:
Remove items like chips, cookies, sugary cereals, and soda from your kitchen and stock up on healthier alternatives such as fresh fruits, vegetables, lean proteins like chicken breasts, and fish, and whole grains like quinoa and brown rice.

Cut calories to lose weight, and reduce your calorie intake per day. Avoid food items with high calories like bakery items which contain more fat and sugar. Many can lose a couple of kgs of weight just by reducing their carbohydrate intake. I have lost a few kgs of weight just by cutting my carbohydrate intake (avoiding white rice).

The Mediterranean diet includes more good fat, fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, fish, and a modest amount of meat and cheese. By following the Mediterranean diet, you can lose weight without exercise.

6. Small, Frequent Meals and hydrate your body:
Divide your daily food into 6 pieces, have a little breakfast, and have an apple or any other fruit between breakfast and lunch. Take a small lunch which contains less carbohydrate, more protein, fruits, vegetables and less fat. Take an evening snack for example whole grain toast followed by evening lemon tea and finally have a light dinner. Avoid late-night meals and consumption of heavy sweets after 5 pm. Include fibre in your diet this helps in removing fat and reducing body weight. It is better to have your dinner at least 2 hours before going to bed. Plan to have dinner by 7 PM.
